I was raised in Peru surrounded by women that baked and cooked with instinct, precision and love. My earliest memories are of homemade desserts and of learning to make alfajores besides my mother.

Before becoming a cake designer, I built a career as a Food Technologist and Quality Control Supervisor in Peru where excellence was the standard. Yet after long working hours, making alfajores remained my creative outlet.

After moving to the USA in 2007, a new chapter quietly began. While I was living in Northern Virginia, I made my first decorated cake boldly without formal training for the first birthday the little girl I cared for as a nanny. That changed everything!.

Few years later, I enrolled in my first official cake decorating class at the local crafting store. Since that first class, continuous education, inherent passion to refine my craft and proven tenacity, I started my Second Career in baking from scratch.

Rooted in treasured family recipes passed down from my mom, mother-in-law and extended family, My craft honors tradition and it is continually expanding though advanced design and techniques, mastering many of them with truly talented and skilled teachers.

After moving to Austin in 2016, my entrepreneurial spirit led to the launch of MVP Krafts. Today, that journey had evolved into Sweet Eliana Bake Studio; a reflection of growth, refinement, and a deeper commitment to keep baking with love.

Meet the creative heart & baker.
